MCSO Seeks Vehicle in Fatal Pedestrian Hit-and-Run Near FM 1485 in New Caney The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in identifying a vehicle believed to be connected to a fatal pedestrian hit-and-run near FM 1485 and Willaby Road in New Caney. Deputies responded to the area after receiving a report of a pedestrian who had reportedly been struck by a vehicle and now pronounced dead. Investigators released a screenshot from video footage showed an SUV-style vehicle believed to have been involved. The vehicle may have damage to its front-right side. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office and reference case 26A318298. Anonymous tips may also be submitted through Multi-County Crime Stoppers. Eligible information leading to a felony arrest may qualify for a reward. The investigation remains ongoing. No driver has been publicly identified in the information released by MCSO.
