Does anybody know why Loop 494 is closed at the Caney Creek bridge? It's been closed for months with no evidence of work being done. Do they plan to reopen it anytime soon?
I checked with Precinct 4, and they directed me to D-O-T. I contacted them and was told that the bridge had failed, and the project is currently under design. Their best estimate for reopening is 2 years or longer. Bzzzzzzzt! Yeah, I said years.
