Home Depot Mower Theft

On Thursday, January 25, 2024, just before 1 PM, deputies from Precinct 4 of Constable Kenneth “Rowdy” Hayden’s Office responded to a theft report at the Porter Home Depot. A male suspect was reported to have taken a Milwaukee Electric Push Mower from the store without payment, loading it into the back of a yellow Ford pickup truck before fleeing the scene.

A Precinct 4 Sergeant located the vehicle shortly after in the vicinity of the Valley Ranch Shopping area in New Caney. Subsequent investigations led to the identification of the suspect as Archie Joles, a 42-year-old resident of Porter, TX. Evidence confirmed that Mr. Joles was responsible for the removal of the mower from Home Depot and was arrested and charged with Class A misdemeanor theft.

Constable Kenneth “Rowdy” Hayden stated, "This swift arrest demonstrates our dedication to deterring criminal activity in New Caney. We remain committed to serving with professionalism, dedication, and compassion, as we uphold the law and protect our citizens' property and well-being."
