Kingwood man shot at 2 am today!

Well, yes & no. His son still may have harmed him while he was asleep. Clearly his son needs help. 🥺 Prayers for both men. 🙏🙏

"When the man turned around, police said he saw his son standing over him, still holding the gun before taking off.A search took place and the Cleveland Police Department told HPD they had taken the suspect into custody.The age of the son and the motive are not clear at this time.An investigation into the shooting is underway.". Yeah, I don't know, but he was old enough to 'take off' after shooting him. Very sad... 😔

@Bloom : I am trying to imagine what it would be like to turn and see your own child holding the gun!!

@otto : I am sure alcohol was involved. It may have actually been a good thing that he was working on his bike. I am guessing perhaps the garage door was up? Maybe? And possibly the sound of gunshots called the police. Had he been inside the home, perhaps not. IDK.

I haven't been able to find any further info on the incident. That's not far from my house.

@Bloom : My DD lives on Bassingham in EG so not far from her either.

@otto : I found an article finally on it. The boy was 16 years old and he stole a truck and they found him in the ditch in the truck that he wrecked in Cleveland. Here's the article
