Kennedy Assassination - EagleVision I came across a CBS interview a couple days ago with Dr. Red Duke about the day he took care of a wounded John Kennedy. It brought back some memories of the time Duke and I worked together for the same network.We often traveled around Houston shooting video for his weekly program . I was a writer/producer for the network. A couple of times my family came along and were in the episode (My youngest daughter sat next to him and ate watermelon as he delivered his lines for a July 4th episode dedicated to water safety one year).Strangely enough, I never asked him about the day John Kennedy was assassinated. He was the first physician to examine John Kennedy when the president was carried into the Dallas Parkland Hospital. Duke is in the Warren Report, which investigated Kennedy’s assassination.I once was told that it is the things you don’t do that you regret.
