Last fall, this was announced: "Italiano's Restaurant is slated to open in early 2025 in the Center at Gene Campbell retail center, officials with the East Montgomery County Improvement District announced Oct. 1. This will be the fifth location for the Italian restaurant, which has restaurants in Atascocita, Humble, Kingwood and Pearland. The menu features a selection of pizzas, pasta, calzones, soups and salads as well as chicken, veal and seafood dishes.

Cbear : But NP construction is such a mess right now. And it would be interesting to see their new location. I really don't think it's open yet - just thought someone might know updates.

Bloom : Your sooooo right about the NP construction. I wonder when they are supposed to be finished? Even so, when they finish they will start on KW drive and therefore ....more folks will take NP to avoid construction. Ugh.

Weathergirl5 : Funny, I was just thinking of that this morning. What is the place going in to the old HEB? Whole foods? Sprouts? I cannot recall.
Cbear : I think Sprouts is supposed to go where the old HEB used to be in Town Center. Trader Joe's was supposed to go in the old Randall's behind Carrabba's in the front of Kingwood. I hope it still does open up there.

Weathergirl5 : Yes, I remembered that TJ's was going into the half of Randalls which is not the gym now. I think December they are slated to open if all goes well.
Cbear : Yes, they were supposed to start working on it in June and be open by the end of December. Although I went over there the other day and so far there's no sign of them working on it. So who knows. Hopefully it's just delayed and not scrapped altogether.

Weathergirl5 : OH ..I hope you are right. Maybe...legal paperwork..licensing and such .
Bloom : I wouldn't mind Italianos there. We wouldn't have to go on the freeway or deal with the traffic on NP 😁
garfieldgurl : I plan to check it out when it opens. We do live in Kingwood, but we're not far from Ford RD, so it's not that far.
