Highway Pursuit Ends in Valley Ranch Theft Arrest

Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office – East Command – arrested a theft suspect following a pursuit that began at the Ulta Beauty store in the Valley Ranch shopping center. Around 4:00 p.m., store staff reported a male suspect concealing items before fleeing in a blue BMW.

Deputies quickly located the vehicle, but the driver refused to stop, leading to a chase on US Highway 59. Officers from MCSO, Montgomery County Constable’s Office Precinct 4, and the Texas Department of Public Safety joined in. The pursuit ended safely in the 23000 block of the US 59 feeder road when DPS Troopers performed a PIT maneuver to stop the vehicle.

The suspect, identified as 31-year-old Stephen Price of Houston, was arrested and charged with Theft and Felony Evading. Deputies recovered stolen merchandise from Ulta Beauty and additional items tied to other thefts in The Woodlands and New Caney.

@Bloom I hate to say this but... we used to have routine patroling in Kingwood. We had an older white man with white hair driving by for years. My late called him Fuzzy. I have not seen one on my street since they were called about some rough neighbors a few doors down years ago.
