This is very scary! I experienced a bit of both about a decade ago but I didn't know it. I was at a Habitat for Humanity job site and everybody was working hard leveling gravel and I felt I had to take a break but didn't want to be seen as lazy, so I kept going. I didn't know I had heat exhaustion until the next day when someone told me after I mentioned how hot I was feeling. My skin felt very warm, even after not being in the sun for over 12 hours. That was so scary.

@garfieldgurl : Oh my goodness! Yes that's very scary. Heat exhaustion and heat stroke are both very serious and scary. Not many people know how serious they can be or to know the signs and symptoms to look out for. I am glad you were OK.
