Have you ever received an A-to-Z same-day delivery?

Have you ever received an A-to-Z same-day delivery?I never purposely request same-day delivery, but sometimes my purchase meets the minimum dollar amount and when I check out it's promised for delivery between 5 and 10 PM the same day. That's happened multiple times...and it's never been delivered that day. If they can't deliver on their own schedule, why do they promise it? Are they just trying to con the user into spending more money so they'll meet the minimum and qualify for same-day delivery? America wants to know.
