EMC Fair & Rodeo Returns to New Caney September 11th With New At
EMC Fair & Rodeo Returns to New Caney September 11th With New Attractions The East Montgomery County Fair & Rodeo is returning to Bull Sallas Park in New Caney from September 11th through September 20th, bringing nearly 10 days of livestock shows, live music, and family activities. New additions this year include the return of a turkey show and an expanded kids' area featuring bounce houses. Concerts will also feature Dustin De La Garza on September 11th and hometown artist Josh Ward on September 12th. The annual event highlights FFA and 4-H students from New Caney and Splendora ISDs. Organizers say last year's junior livestock show generated more than $1 million for local youth, while other competitions help fund scholarships for students pursuing college and career-technical programs. The fair will be held at Bull Sallas Park, 21679 McCleskey Road in New Caney. Livestock shows are free for spectators, while rodeo and concert tickets are sold separately.
