Drone Helps Locate Alleged Machete Assailant Located Near FM 209
Drone Helps Locate Alleged Machete Assailant Located Near FM 2090 A drone assisted deputies in locating a man accused of threatening people with a machete near FM 2090 and I-69, according to the Montgomery County Precinct 4 Constable's Office. Officials said Precinct 4 deputies assisted Splendora police Monday night after a man allegedly fled from an altercation involving a machete. Authorities reported that it was the second similar incident involving the same suspect within 24 hours. Precinct 4 deployed its Eagle 9 aerial drone unit, which reportedly located the suspect hiding in a wooded area shortly after launch. The man was identified as Shawn Pabst. He was taken into custody and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. An arrest and charge are allegations, and the case will proceed through the legal process.
