Deputy/Firefighter/Hero

A Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputy went well beyond his normal duties earlier this week. Deputy Aguirre was responding to an everyday call in New Caney on Tuesday (11/3/15) evening, when he noticed a house on fire just down the street. The Deputy quickly checked to see if everyone was out of the home. When he heard the family’s dog was still inside, he rushed into the burning home and brought the beloved pet outside to safety. And he wasn’t done with his heroics yet! Aguirre used a garden house to try and douse the flames until the fire department could arrive.
