Constables Arrest Wrong Way Driver
On August 9, 2020, deputies with Constable Mark Herman's Office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for driving the wrong way (north bound in the south bound lane) in the 19000 block of the Hardy Toll Road.
The driver was identified as Qwamesha Ross who displayed several signs of intoxication. Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were administered and it was discovered that she was driving while intoxicated. She stated she did not remember driving the wrong way.
During an inventory of her vehicle, deputies located several controlled substances inside.
"Qwamesha Ross was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Possession of a Controlled Substance. Her total bond was set at $200.00 out of County Court 9." - Constable Mark Herman
