Buy Gold Silver

I was the store in Humble; Houston Buy Gold Silver (the shopping strip along Hwy. 59). I had been there a few times throughout the years. I recently went in there with some old spoons I had found. I had looked on the back to see if they had the words "plated" or "silver plated" or to see if there were any identifying marks for sterling silver. Couldn't find any identify marks of type of metal. I had 5 spoons total; each one was made by a different company. The first one I handed to him did say "plated" on it, I had missed that. But the others didn't have any plated terms on them. He sounded a little angry at me and told me it was plated. I told him the others were all made by different companies. And asked him to check the others too. He, again, angerly said it is plated and walked away.

I definity will NOT go back to that place. Anyone know of similar store of this type in the general area? It does not need to be in Humble or Kingwood, but some place with a reasonable driving distance?

@Genesis : I do not know of anywhere else. I have been to that place once before and will never go back. They are just rude.

There's a place in Spring called Goldwiser, but they won't buy silverware unless it says sterling or 925 on it. But from experience, there should be some sort of hallmark on the spoons. I think if you asked, them, they'll test it for you.
