Armed Robbery In Porter
Today (3/31/16) at 10:30AM, Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division were dispatched to an armed robbery that had occurred at the Exxon Gas Station and Grocery at 22338 FM 1314.
The suspect entered the store and pointed a handgun at the store clerk while demanding money. The clerk complied with his demands and handed over the money from the register. The suspect then fled the location in an unknown direction. Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office units searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspect.
Descriptions of the suspect are vague: skinny white male, with his face covered with a red bandana, and wearing gloves. The investigation is on-going and evidence is being reviewed.
