Splendora Police Arrest Jody Binnion on Sexual Assault WarrantSplendora police have announced an arrest in a sexual assault case first reported to the department on September 20th, 2026. Jody Binnion was taken into custody on a felony warrant, according to police. The department says its Criminal Investigation Division developed probable cause through evidence collected in the case. Detectives obtained the warrant for sexual assault under Texas Penal Code § 22.011. Criminal Investigation personnel worked with the Unmanned Aircraft Systems Division, Patrol Division and Criminal Interdiction Unit to make the arrest.An arrest is not a conviction. Binnion is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
