New Caney Residents Seek Help for Surviving Kitten After Accident Last Night in Valley RanchA small gray kitten has been seen wandering between the Kroger and Hobby Lobby in Valley Ranch, and local residents are hoping someone can help get it to safety. According to residents, the kitten had been seen with a sibling in the area. Last night around 10:15 PM the sibling was struck by a black truck and did not survive. The incident was called in to police who were made aware of the collision and offered to send dispatch to the area.Concern is now focused on the remaining kitten, which is still believed to be roaming near the shopping center and surrounding parking areas as of this morning, September 16th. Residents are asked to use caution while driving through the area and if you see the kitten try to keep eyes on its location and contact Montgomery County Animal Services or a local rescue.
