Missing Juvenile Recovered in Montgomery County Trafficking Investigation
Detectives with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Organized Crime Division VICE Unit recovered a missing juvenile and arrested two suspects during a human trafficking investigation on March 9, 2026. While investigating the missing juvenile case, detectives located online advertisements on prostitution-related websites that featured the missing juvenile alongside an unidentified adult female. Investigators arranged a meeting at a local hotel in Montgomery County as part of the operation. With assistance from Texas Department of Public Safety Special Agents, detectives located a vehicle occupied by two adult women and the missing juvenile. The two women were identified as 20-year-old Norma Lewis and 20-year-old Niasia Harrell, both from Houston. They were arrested and charged with Trafficking of a Child, a first-degree felony, and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident. The juvenile was safely recovered, received medical care and support services, and was later released to their parents. The investigation remains ongoing.

So sad that this child was exposed to that. But thankful that she was found. Hopefully she can get the support needed to recover.
