Ants!

Ants!
I've been dealing with ants in our 2 bathrooms for quite a while now. I'm using some bait/poison granules that I got at Bug Time in Humble and spray. It's working, but more little ants keep showing up for the party. I'm so tired of vacuuming up little dead ants. But the real issue is that my grands who are about to arrive from Iowa will freak out!

otto : It seems they don't get bugs indoors in that climate as easily as we do here. The 13 year old is afraid of bugs! If she sees an ant in the bathroom, she'll be scared to go. 🙃

Did you call an exterminator? We had that problem last year. Ants in the house, across our driveway & porch. Our exterminator came and sprayed and I haven't seen them since. 🐜

The last time I had an exterminator come was probably 20 years ago. We keep DIY chemicals tgat we get at Bug Time, and don't usually have a problem.

Yeah, I remember he sprayed inside, then treated outside with a different chemical. He said the ants were harmless; wouldn't bite, but he was surprised to see them in a neighborhood. He usually treats them around commercial buildings. My neighbor also said she had them. Sorry this is happening. They can be a real chore to keep up with. 🥴

I haven't done anything outside. Think I'll mix up some of the stuff we spray around the perimeter of the house and do that.

Also use real red cedar mulch in your flower beds. Bugs do not like it.
