Is anyone else following the assault on a property owner by Montgomery County ARB Chairman Steve Friends? Apparently he assaulted a property owner and somehow the property owner was issued a trespassing citation (only reversed after the county judge got involved)

How Steve Friends wasn't immediately put on leave and banned from the premises after being charged with assault on a property owner baffles me. I don't care what the guy was saying, you can't put your hands on someone. And public officials should be held to an even higher standard.

Wow - interesting! Thanks for sharing. Looks like they try to discourage property owners from protesting taxes.

truckerhat : Glad that the "no trespassing " was lifted. Why do people get so angry and violent these days?

truckerhat : That's a valid point. It wasn't that long ago that it wasn't so simple to take pictures or videos - you had to plan on having an actual camera with you.
