My power went out at 2 AM and it's still out. I got a message at 6:19 AM that was from Centerpoint saying my power has been restored. No it hasn't. I tried calling them, but they're not taking calls right now. They're too busy.

Sweetie : It got loud and wet around here, but the lights never flickered. The remaining rain should move off to the east within the next few minutes.

We lost power a lttle past 1AM, and it was just restored. Thankfully it didn't get too hot.

Sweetie : It got loud and wet around here, but the lights never flickered. The remaining rain should move off to the east within the next few minutes.
 
otto : Oh that's good. Traffic lights are out in Kingwood. I left home about 10 o'clock because I'm not supposed to get power till 230. And so I'm at a friend's house where there's air ,power ,TV ,Internet. This is just crazy.

Oh my! I had planned to do a couple of errands, but think I'll wait. If traffic lights aren't working, driving is risky.

otto : The lights just flickered once for us but no outage. I didn't even know it was windy until I saw a bunch of branches on the ground.
