IAH flights grounded this morning!

botanylover : We are still sitting at the airport! We have gone to four out of five of the terminals to sit for standby on flights. None of them have worked out. I hope this one does! Six hours at IAH and counting... 😬🙃

Oh no! So sorry! Sounds like this has been a mess nation-wide. Hope yall are able to get on a flight soon. There's a memorial service at our church tomorrow, and some out of state family members are stuck at airports in Georgia, Ohio, and New York.

Bloom : Oh, dear!! It was definitely a mess! So many connecting flights were not making it in. Then they had to put people on the planes that were waiting on standby because so many connecting flights are not command and the people that had tickets to be on the flight were not there and that made the current planes an hour or more late. It was wild!

Bloom :
We finally made it out! ✈️ We were on standby for a 630 flight. We had chased flights to Phoenix all over the airport from noon until 630. We finally got on the plane as a standby.
They called my daughter who is engaged first and then called five other people. The last three people to get called up were me and my other daughter!! So we got on by the hair of our chinny chin chin! We got into our destination about 1 AM Houston time, 11 local time.
