The weather report was that it was going to rain all day today and possibly flood a little. I'm glad none of that happened but I canceled plans today. A friend was going to cook out and she's got a covered patio, but we thought the wind would be bad . They were so far off. I'm glad they were because it turned out to be a beautiful day.

We changed plans too. I didn't want to drive across town in bad weather. There's been some pretty rough weather to the north of us though.

@Bloom : And all those tornadoes in Nebraska are terrible. I'm so glad they're not coming through our state

@Sweetie : Which makes me wonder how they can predict the hurricane season! I know...water temps, currents etc can tell us a few things but....
