Jt88888888 : We stayed on alert. I emptied my purse of almost everything. Only took one credit card that I knew I would use and took some money for lunch. But that's terrible that you've got to clean your purse out and leave credit cards at home for fear that your purse gets stolen. When went into the mall, I put my credit card into my pocket. I have a small pocket in my Capris that no one can get into lol . And that way the purse only then contains some cash.
@Sweetie : I've seen people stealing in that Total Wine a couple times. Sad thing is nothing happens so they don't bother with police.
I saw that in Austin not long ago when I was there. Cops even showed up at a restaurant where some protestors attacked people and wouldn't do anything 3 times, basically saying too much work and too much serious stuff to mess with that.
Scary times as people will have to take things into their own hands
