Just moved out for the first time and is it normal to feel a little creeped out in your new home? I hate being alone with my baby in our new place it just feels creepy I can't wait till my husband comes home then it feels better.

@vgaby :
Sorry you're having that problem. I would think that might be pretty normal, when you're alone with a baby in a new place. It makes sense that you'll feel more comfortable when your husband gets back. If he travels often, maybe you'll feel better about it once you're more settled in, or maybe you can meet some neighbors. Best wishes, and welcome to the forum!

@vgaby : I think that is pretty normal. Every home has it's "sounds" that you need to get used to. You will feel better soon. Are y'all thinking of getting a security system? That might re-assure you.

Check out some "baby and me" activities in the area. I am not familiar with any in the area, but I've seen them on TV.

Get out with the baby and explore the area. Shopping centers. Parks. Maybe walk the baby in the stroller in your neighborhood, if it's safe to do so. I bet you'll find other ladies walking their babies, too.
