@tmikeg12345, this is a nation made up of people who originally came from other countries -- even the "native" Americans were immigrants from Asia 15-20,000 years ago. But we (the European newcomers) treated 'em right -- the ones we didn't kill off with diseases we brought with us we rounded up and forced onto reservations.
Trump and his minion, Stephen Miller, have a major goal to make America white again. They might as well run around in white sheets with pointy hoods. It's unfortunate that Trump's thoroughly justified impeachment is going to wind up as an exercise in futility. We can thank Moscow Mitch and his merry band of GOP syncophants for that. It'll probably make Trump even more brazen -- more of a mob "Don" than he already is -- if that's possible.
Yes we need immigration reform, legal reform. But robbing $billions in approved DOD spending to build a useless wall on the Texas border isn't the way to accomplish it. Trump has manufactured a crisis and riled up his base with his racist rhetoric. The result is what you could expect: a 42-year-old Iowa woman was arrested yesterday for driving onto the sidewalk and running down a high school girl. Why? Because she was Mexican. What a sad reflection on America.
