Joshua Givens, a 17-year-old Junior at New Caney High School, was tragically struck and killed by a vehicle while walking home from a quinceanera late Saturday night. According to reports from DPS, at around around 12:45 a.m. on Sunday, March 3, a passerby came across the body of a young man on the side of McCleskey Road and called 9-1-1.Football coach Tony Robles was able to identify the deceased victim as 17-year-old Joshua Givens.The suspect, 23-year-old Logan Chase Foster (photo below), eventually turned himself in late Sunday evening. He has been charged with Failure to Stop and Render Aid - Causing Death, and is being held in the Montgomery County Jail on $100,000 bond. NCISD released this statement. "New Caney ISD is deeply saddened by this news, and our thoughts and prayers are with the student's family and friends at this time.
