Registration Sticker still processing.....

According to the "Hey Dude Where's my Sticker" thingy on the DMV website my registration sticker has been stuck in the processing stage since SEPTEMBER THE 2ND. Is this happening to anyone else? I emailed them and they said to go tell my local office it was lost in the mail and get another one. IN CONROE?! I mean is that the closest place? And why would I want to lie to them and tell them it got lost in the mail if the site said it was still processing.

This is what happens when you take the tags away from actual people you can see that can place it right then and there on the windshield

@CR465 : Print out the email and just drive 1 mile on down the southbound service road from our new McDonalds. You'll find the local office there on the right...

I did mine on August 31st and got the sticker in the mail pretty quick. It must be a problem in their computer system.

@dixiedee123 : You are indeed correct. They said that the system doesn't change the status sometimes. It has been lost in the mail

I will have to take time off from work to go get another one. My work hours perfectly line up with their locations' hours.

I wish they would just give us a big barcode that we could slap on the our vehicles that they can scan from afar (or a QR code) and see everything is up to date instead of entrusting a paper version to USPS. Although I have to say; my latest mail carrier lady is the BEST. She is the mail carrier others wish they had.

See if you can take your lunch at the beginning/end of the day and use the hour to get there. Copy the email and good luck.

I went to the office just before valley ranch on 59 to get my sticker and plates when I bought my car in feb

@CR465 : if you haven't gone yet, could you find out the hours and if you have to be there by a certain time if not closing time. I need to go and will need to leave work early to make it.
