how much does one cost? the feeder and the food? they really swarm to it!!
@Njmeadows7 : Normally I don't buy the food. It was $3 for a bottle of concentrate to mix with water. I usually just make it like this...
Directions for making safe hummingbird food at home:
1.Mix 1 part sugar with 4 parts water and bring to a boil to kill any bacteria or mold present.
2.Cool and fill feeder.
3.Extra sugar water may be stored in a refrigerator.
4.Red dye should not be added.
The feeder like in the last pic I posted is about $10 at Walmart...
