local vehicle inspection suggestion?

I need to get my car inspected. Any suggestions for somewhere I won't wait forever? I'm thinking I'll go Monday after work. I should be able to avoid the end of the month rush. Thanks in advance!

@Njmeadows7 : I use Eppinettes on 1485, west of 59 about 3/4 mile on the right. I rarely ever have to wait.

I use EMC Car Care (EMC Towing) off Loop 494 a little ways north of the NCHS on the left (if you're heading north). Only had to wait one time.

Montgomery vs Harris does it matter for inspection stickers?

@carol888 : I'm Montgomery. I'm not sure. When I called the courthouse they said the registration may cost slightly different based on the type of inspection I had. Maybe it has to do with the county.

Harris and surrounding counties require an emissions test as part of the annual inspection. I believe a Harris inspection would be valid in Montgomery, and vice versa. But you couldn't go to Cleveland for an inspection -- Liberty County doesn't do emissions testing. To be sure you're OK, you should get your vehicle inspected in the same county where it's registered.
