Where's the DANG BBQ? I mean really? I have been in the area since about 1995 and I think there are less rather than more "Q" places (Oh and I still miss the Porter HEB). Not too long ago (6 years?) there was a trailer set up by the High School on 494- you could go there and get a RACK of ribs- $10 or so. So yeah when I am talking BBQ I mean, like,- lots of BBQ. None of this chopped beef sandwich stuff.There was a food truck/ trailer at that Quick Stop at the exit of Roman Forest on the west side of 59. But they sold sausage. G-R-E-A-T- if I had a sausage cravin. But what about some good Q?Why do you have to go to Cleveland just to get some Q? I would almost be ready to bite the bullet and go into Kingwood (gasp), yes Kingwood to get BBQ, if there was a decent Q place. But trip adviser doesn't list any there either. SO WHAT'S THE DEAL? I am open to suggestions...Hint: If you are gonna give me suggestions (and I am soliciting) please mention a place say- Splendora etc..., or Cleveland..., . Please don't give me alternative realities such as: if those four Kingwood cheerleaders had opened a Q place they could have made $$, instead of robbing businesses/banks/etc...
