Police are still investigating a fatal crash that occurred on the HOV overpass above 59 Tuesday afternoon. According to reports, 2 people are believed to be deceased in what appears to be single-car accident in the HOV lane above 59 near Townsen Blvd. The wreck happened early this afternoon (Tuesday, June 12) and police are still piecing together the scene. Houston METRO reported that buses will be exiting before Townsen, and commuters should expect longer travel times.
