Why do parents let their little kids run all over a furniture store? I understand Gallery Furniture, they have way to many sales people and they stop them! I was in Bel Furniture and checking out a power recliner, yep I was laid back and these kids unplugged it and I was stuck. They were so loud that I had to scream 4 times to get help, the sales ladies were very frustrated at kiddos who were then jumping on a very expensive mattress. I had a panic attack and now I am not sure if I want a power chair! My 3 yo grand was so sweet to me for the rest of the evening however!

Nowadays...Parents think stores have to be baby sitters while the parents look around...

Jill57 mine knew what else the bathroom was for too. I can't stand to see tykes that are old enough to know better start screaming or hitting their heads on the shopping cart because their parent told them "no" when they asked for something while the parent was shopping for things the family really needs. If the parents are afraid to discipline them there they need to do it when they get them home. Always, always, always let them know, in a quite way, while they are acting up, what they can expect when they get home. Never scream or slap at them while you are still in the store because your noisy kid is enough to put up with without you adding to it.

The worst I've always seen are the Hispanics. I had enough one day, in a grocery store. These kids were screaming over what appeared to be nothing. I asked the mother if she thought that other shoppers were in the store just to enjoy listening to her kids scream. She just went on without answering. Then there are the screamers who create havoc if they don't get what they demand....

I know the feeling. Also they walk right in front of you cut you off totally. I have seen family's of five or six kids just filling up on bananas or apples what ever they choose that particular day. Doesn't get paid for either. I have to pay for what I want others should do the same. Just saying

Kroger may offer them for free but on the other hand someone is paying the price. I talked with some of the security and they advised that after extensive camera watching. They had to come up with that solution rather then lose business. When the fruit prices go up then we are the ones paying for it! Please pay for what you want in life. There are way to many free handouts already. Now I guess all the stores going to have to give them what they want. Feed your family before you go shopping don't depend on free all your life.

@tmikeg12345 : Agreeded! As a child we knew better than to eat food at store that our parents hadn't paid for.
