I heard sometime mid July, but havent seen anything concrete about it.

@audreyisthinner They must be getting real close to opening soon as the lights (electric) are on. I noticed that last night as I made my way to the new Chick-Fil-A in Valley Ranch. I also would like to know their opening date. Cant wait!

The Walmart in Porter is becoming dirty and dingy I really don't go there anymore

@SharaC No it's not. It's actually very well kept for being in Porter. Have you been to other Walmarts?

@sanlynet No it's not and yes I have been to other Walmarts that have been way cleaner and very well kept

Going to the Porter Walmart has always been a source of entertaining stories. I remember the first visit I made after moving out here was kind of a culture shock. Now that I've settled in and gotten used to it, the new stores seem kind of pretencious. Does this mean the end of going shopping in my pajamas?

Sure wish Walmart would have gotten McDonalds in this new store. We have a Subway next to Food Town, a new one in VR Town Center, and now there will be one in this Walmart. Who knows, maybe the one by Food Town is going to close.
