I sure wish Sam's Club would come back to Vally Ranch!! They built it before a lot of the homes were built in the area and didn't give it enough time to become profitable before they closed it. I hate driving to Humble location and I think a lot of people do. Anyone hear any whispers about it possibly coming back?

It made no sense whatsoever to close that location so quickly. A friend worked there, and she said employees were given no warning. She also said that some who had worked in the Humble store re-located to the VR store because it was closer, then couldn't get their position back in Humble. Just a sad deal all around! Maybe Costco might consider? I like it better anyway.

Hopefully one of them (Costco or Sam's) will come out this way. Both stores in Humble are always packed.

I never understood why they closed either. I do believe that now it would do very good. Let's change it up though and put a Costco.

Would definately support Sam's club being in Valley Ranch again. I just purchased a card and have not even been yet because it is in humble

We moved here 22 years ago, and had been longtime Sam's Club members. We just never liked the store in Humble, and dropped membership. We're Costco shoppers now. But my adult DD loved the VR Sam's during the short time it was open. She shops Costco now too. At least it doesn't involve going down 1960.

Closing Sams was primarily a national decision at the time that they were reducing their store footprint and focusing on fulfilling online orders. Just recently they've started opening new Sams locations again.

Yeah, but pretty stupid of the company to close down a brand new store versus that ratty one on 1960. I think they could've closed that one down and everybody would've come on up to Valley Ranch happily. I like Costco too, but when I did a comparison on prices, Sam's really has them beat. I have memberships at both because each one has specific things that I buy and honestly what I save paying for my glasses every year certainly pays for the membership at Costco so I'm not beating myself up about it. However I really would like a decent Sam's Club closer to home

We moved here 22 years ago. The Sam's Club in Tyler had been a favorite shopping place for years. But we quickly gave up on the Humble location because of the location. It's sad that they closed the VR store. I'm sure it would have a bustling business if it was still open.
