Lunch @ Gringo's

DH and I went to Gringo's in VR for lunch. I had my favorite, the summer Special. I need a few things to freshen up my closet for spring, so I went to Ross after lunch Big mistake! I know it's not upscale, but I used to find cute things at the store in Humble before I retired. The racks were so jammed that it was impossible to look, and aisles were crowded as well. I quickly left and stopped at Bealls in Porter. I found just what I needed there!

@Bloom : Good for you! Sounds like a win of a day! Isn't Bealls in the shopping center with Tractor supply?

@Cbear : Yes. It's a small store, but they have some nice things with reasonable prices.

Looks delicious. I've never shopped at Bealls... but I sure do miss Palais Royal. They were in both Humble & Atascocita. They were SO affordable with their sales and their coupons. 😟

@Cbear : I don't think this store has been there that long, probably less than 5 years. I remember the first time I went in was to buy a baby gift, and that baby is onIy 2years old. Yesterday I was looking for tops other than t-shirts to wear with pants. I got 2 that were exactly what I wanted, and the prices were very reasonably.

I remember Bealls was our go to in Rusk. Don't know if Jacksonville still has theirs.
When I moved in this area I saw the Porter one and couldn't believe.
Good memories. 😎

Not sure, but I believe the store in Jacksonville closed. This one in Porter has a different feel to it, but I like it.

@Cbear : I can't remember the name of what it was before, but Beall's has much nicer clothes and just a better atmosphere.
