truckerhat : I know exactly what happened! My DD and DS were out for a joyride and got passed by that crazy man on the shoulder. DD decided to get off the interstate so that she was not in the middle of something crazy and accidentally ended up in the middle of it all! She said that they apprehended two guys separately. One had run and she saw the policeman with a gun to his head and him on the ground. The other one was near his car I guess. Both were apprehended. Wild!

Oh my - how terrifying for your kids! Hope they can look back on it as a lesson that there's all kinds of crazies out there, and you have to constantly be aware of your surroundings. Thankful nobody ended up in a crash! Thx for sharing.

Bloom : Actually, they just found it interesting. We have been in Houston for two years, so they just knew to try to be a safe as possible and stay away from all the activity.
