@Happybritgirl: I see nobody has risen to the challenge. I don't live in Tavola, but I live in nearby RF, so I'll try to answer some of your questions. Haven't seen any crime figures for Tavola, but crime is very low in RF and in Woodbranch. I expect Tavola would be similar. Police services in Tavola are provided by the RF Police Force -- well-respected in the area. Electric service is provided by Entergy; you have no choice, but the rates are reasonable. Cable TV is provided by Suddenlink, and satellite from Dish and DirecTV are available. There may be other Internet/TV providers servicing Tavola. So far, traffic in/out of the community hasn't been a big problem. That may change as more and more homes are built in Tavola. I expect we'll be seeing traffic lights on RF Blvd at Winding Summit and Tavola Dr in the not-too-distant future.

I live in Tavola. I have not heard of any crime but being so close to the freeway, don't be surprised if there is some. Trash is provided by Waste Management, no recycling yet though. Your trash service is paid through the water company so when you set up your water, trash service is also set up. We really enjoy living out here. We miss HEB in Kingwood but absolutely do not miss the traffic

We recently moved to Tavola from Kingwood. After living in Kingwood for over 25 years we have found this neighborhood to be a wonderful change. All neighbors I have met are friendly. The traffic is so much lighter. It was taking over 30-45 minutes to get to hwy 59 in Kingwood. The traffic and congestion were the main reasons we had for leaving Kingwood.

Schools are rated lower than Kingwood schools, and you pay a higher property tax than Kingwood.
