Houston rodeo lineup announced

Thank you! Looks like they are offering music across all genres. That's nice. I have only been to the rodeo once, many years ago. I believe we saw Kenny Chesney perform. It was quite an experience. I especially liked the food we ate. 😋🍗🥨🍕

Bloom , MsMuffet : I've also only gone to the rodeo once. The performer was Randy Travis, so that should tell you how long ago. (Hint: It was his first rodeo performance.)

It was still in the Dome when we went. DH would get free tickets at work, and we were much younger. It was fun then, but I wouldn't want to fight the crowds now.

otto Bloom MsMuffet : We used to go all the time, when it was in the Astrodome. Have only been once to NRG. It looks to like a good line up this year.

The rodeo is such a huge event. Students can get some nice scholarships, and it's a fun time. But when I was involved with our church providing housing for medical patients, I found a downside to rodeo season. During March, Houston hotels jack up the prices just because they know they can. I know that's industry standard, but it affects patients coming for medical treatment to our world reknown med center. I've seen people postpone appointments because they couldn't afford $400+ for a hotel room.
