Of course it has to be on 99...ughhhhh
Why can't it be in New Caney somewhere???
There is already an HEB just a few miles down from there.

Surely they would plan this better and build in an area where New Caney residents can access it easily. If not, I guess Krogers will still be king and I will be very disappointed.

If it does go there at 1314 and 99, the traffic on 1314 will be even worse, so you'll have to pick the right time of day to go...
It IS easily accessible from New Caney. You just take Valley Ranch Road to 1314 and come on over. What are you crying about? It's literally 5 more minutes down the road.
Used to be an H E B store in Porter in what is now Goodwill! Hopefully this new one won't be a small convenience store type like Cleveland!! I'm looking forward to it!!
Of course, they would have to buy an undeveloped tract of land, cut all the vegetation down, instead of trying to find a suitable structure already built and existing....ie the old Sam's Club
I can just go to the one in Kingwood it will be just as close as the one their going to build if they build it there.Hopefully they will build it between Cleveland and New Caney. I hope.
@B.Justice : pretty sure Kroger has it in their lease at Valley Ranch for no other grocers in Valley Ranch. Besides, HEB does not lease any buildings, which they would have to do at the old Sam's. Every store of theirs that you see, they OWN that property.
