We're well into the second month of DH being pretty seriously sick. It's rough on the whole family. But our sweet DD is really helping so much. She checks each afternoon to see if we need anything as she comes home from work. This afternoon, DH asked me to ask her to shave him. He remembers she did it in the hospital. She did it with such love and gentleness. My eyes are leaking as I remenber the moment.
