Back by popular demand, the 5th annual Kingwood Oktoberfest returns to Holy Comforter Lutheran Church and will take place on October 15, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Listed as one of the top 10 events in Kingwood in its inaugural year of 2016, the event attracted more than 1200 people. Following Hurricane Harvey and amidst recovery efforts, Holy Comforter and the TKO team pushed forward with the festival. In spite of pouring down rain, nearly 1,000 people from the community came out for TKO 2017.
In 2018, TKO celebrated its third year with a thousand people in attendance, including the addition of dozens of teenagers, who joined TKO in support of the Kingwood High German Club & Kingwood Park JROTC and Theatre Department with dancing, drills, and face painting. After taking a hiatus, due to COVID-19 closures, TKO returned triumphant in 2021 with over 1,400 from the community happily joining us for this unique event. We will have beer from Back Pew Brewing Company and much more. We are also pleased to announce that The Kingwood Oktoberfest will add even more entertainment this year with a DJ and games and activities for all ages.
We are extending the event until 6:00 p.m. this year, so don’t miss it!
