Montgomery County Hospital District Car Seat Event
Car seats are an essential part of childcare. But it goes beyond just having a car seat...You have to make sure it's installed correctly as well.

With that in mind, the Montgomery County Hospital District, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and Safe Kids Greater Houston are hosting a free car seat event on September 17 from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm. Families can get one free car seat per child (Both the child and the vehicle must be present). Pregnant women may also register, but they would like them to be into their third trimester. Certified technicians will be on hand to instruct you and make sure your car seat is fitted and installed correctly, as well as Jim Slack from the Pct. 4 Constable's Office.
The event will be at the MCSO Clint People’s Training Academy at 112 Academy Drive in Conroe. The goal is to give out and correctly install 100 age appropriate cars seats on this day.

You must make an appointment for your free car seat by calling 832.919.7233 before the event.

[Changing your child from a rear facing to front facing car seat in the back seat depends on their age, height and weight. All three clasps should always be used when your child in is their seat and the car is moving.]
