New Caney Man Arrested For Murder

Gerald Green (39, New Caney) has been arrested for the July 2 murder of his girlfriend, Alice Lee (41).

"At 4PM today (7/27/16), Green turned himself in," said DPS Trooper Mike Martin. "I believe the pressure from folks on social media and several law enforcement agencies got to him."

Green was said to have murdered Lee by dragging her with his pickup after the two had been arguing in the parking lot of a bar in Humble. At some point during the altercation, Green grabbed Lee, pulled her into the window, and held on while accelerating. He eventually let go of her and ran over her with his truck.

Green was booked into the Montgomery County Jail in Conroe.

@Bluegreen The report above does not indicate if he meant to run her over. He couldn't be called "sick" if he only meant to shut her up by scaring her and doesn't it take two to argue? This report obviously leaves a lot of questions unanswered. It is interesting to see how quickly everyone becomes a judge. I personally did not know them, I did not see the incident but I have seen many quarrels between people of the opposite sex. Haven't we all? How wrong to wish him sexual abuse while he is incarcerated; that's well.....sick.

@stephaniekr :I've argued with my dh before but never grabbed him thru a vehicle window and accelerated, then dropped him and run him over. Have you? Normal people don't murder someone. He chose to drag her to her death. I don't care what he "meant" to do, he murdered her. Murderers deserve whatever they get in prison. You want to call me sick for wishing a murderer whatever he deserves... how quickly you became a judge.

Again, you missed the point. We do not know his intent. And the statement about "sick" was a play on your words. Did you not understand that either?

Oh, I forgot. Murderers deserve the sentence they receive. Do you propose that sexual abuse be part of the sentence. If so, lobby for it.

@stephaniekr :Again? What was the first point I missed? Say what you will, regardless of what he meant to do, he killed her. Are you going to argue with that? He deserves what he gets. My opinion differs from yours. Your argument won't change mine. Have a lovely afternoon.

So you basically change the subject when someone makes sense. I was not arguing that he killed her, was I?
And, everyone knows your "have a lovely afternoon" is because you can't handle the logic of what I am saying so you are running.

Be that as it may. You are a very sick person to wish sexual abuse on anyone.
