Mother/Son Shot At - UPDATE
As a result of the investigation conducted by Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Detectives, suspects involved in the shooting on 1314 two weeks ago were identified.
Investigators were able to determine probable cause for arrest and search warrants for the above listed shooting. On Wednesday, February 24, 2016, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Detectives and representatives of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office SWAT executed a search warrant in the 18800 block of Woodridge Drive. Detectives were searching for two suspects, Carlos Daniel Vera-Garcia, (date of birth 08/09/1998), and a juvenile for the above listed shooting, as well as several other aggravated assaults they were suspects in over the last several weeks, including another shooting incident near Caney Creek High School. The juvenile suspect was located and detained at the warrant service location, but Carlos Daniel Vera-Garcia remains at large.
