Home Invasion/Robbery

On Wednesday, February 24, 2016, at approximately 10:40 AM, deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division were dispatched to a robbery call in the 21600 block of Timber Lane, in Porter.

Deputies were advised that a female complainant was alone at her residence when a white Chevy pick-up truck pulled into her driveway. Reportedly two males got out of the pickup truck, while one approached and requested water for the truck. The female complainant stated she observed one male to be armed with a firearm. The male armed with the firearm reportedly entered the residence demanding money and jewelry, while threatening her. The male covered her mouth with duct tape and bound her legs and wrist with the same. The male ransacked the residence before leaving with the other male with an undisclosed amount of cash and jewelry. A neighbor later found the complainant, released her from her binds, and contacted the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center.

The suspects were described as one White male and one Hispanic male. They were described as both in their 20s to 30s, wearing safety type construction vests. The suspect vehicle is described as a white, early 2000s year model Chevy pick-up truck, single cab, with a long wheel base, and having a, “head ache rack”.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Units responded to the scene. The investigation is on-going and investigators are in the process of reviewing evidence.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information to call the Major Crimes Unit at (936) 760-5876 or Montgomery County Crime Stoppers.
