3 Arrested - Auto-Theft, Drugs, DWI, & More
Pct. 4 Constable Deputies were busy again last night after getting a stolen vehicle call.
Around 7:30pm on 10/17/2016, Pct. 4 deputies received word of a stolen vehicle in the area of FM 1485W, traveling eastbound. Deputies located the vehicle around the area of FM 1485 and Firetower Rd. The stolen vehicle, a white Dodge work truck was being followed by a red Toyota truck. Both vehicles were speeding and passing slower vehicles by driving in oncoming traffic lanes. Pct. 4 deputies tried to stop the stolen vehicle, but the red truck attempted to block the Pct. 4 vehicles by attempting to swerve and ram them. A Pct. 4 deputy was then able to stop the red truck and detain the driver, as other Pct. 4 units continued to stop the stolen vehicle. After a short pursuit with the stolen vehicle, it crashed into a small passenger car at the intersection of Firetower Rd and Highway 242. The driver and passenger of the stolen vehicle then ran into the woods. Pct. 4 deputies took the two subjects into custody a short time later.
The small passenger car was occupied by an adult female and 2 children. Even though they were transported to the hospital as a precaution, they are doing well.
The driver of the red truck was identified as Worth, Randall 8/2/92 from Montgomery, TX.
The driver of the stolen truck was identified as Weeks, John Jr. 2/29/72 and the passenger was identified as Mataisz, Monica 7/16/70, both from Conroe, TX.
