We are on our way to the airport now. It's raining quite a bit, but 1314 looks fine.
There was a good bit of water right before getting on to the interstate near 1314, and someone had hydroplaned and knocked down a pole. Not sure if he is OK or not.

@Cbear : It's amazing how high the water gets and then how it relatively quickly goes away. I am glad it is going away!

@Bloom : I hope so too. I have heard of a lot of deaths from people hitting a tree or a pole. This one was an old accident site because they had already brought in a new pole to put up.

@Cbear : Very true!! I've never seen the water this high - since we weren't here when Harvey came through.

@botanylover : Flooding was exacerbated in Harvey because of Lake Conroe letting water out to protect the dam if you hadn't heard that already.
