Pct. 4 Receives MADD Award
For the second year in a row, Montgomery County Pct. 4 Constable’s Office has been awarded by MADD for Outstanding Law Enforcement Agency Award. The award was accepted by Constable Rowdy Hayden, Chief Deputy Barry Welch and Lieutenant Buck Clendennen at the “2016 Take the Wheel Law Enforcement Award and Recognition Event for Harris and Montgomery County. Also in 2011, MADD presented Constable Hayden the award for Department of the Year”.
Each year, on weekend and holidays, the Pct. 4 Constable’s Office works overtime making sure the streets are safe for the travelers and their families. Most of these programs are sponsored by MADD.
Constable Hayden stated: “I have always took a strong stance against drunk driving. Our office strives to keep the streets safe, by having deputies that are highly trained in DWI enforcement and diligently working weekends and holidays when DWI’s seem to be at a peak.”
