Can people, please, be nice to Angela the homeless lady that is now in the parking lot on Northpark by the theatre. She was telling us men are going by and flicking their cigarettes at her. Just don't look at her if her situation makes you mad. She is only taking up about a 4 foot by 4 foot square section of our world except when she has to lie down on the pavement to sleep and then it might be a bit more. And, no, she won't go to a homeless shelter. She has been hurt before and is terrified of them. Thank you.

I seen this post the other day and felt really bad for this lady. Well I seen this lady this morning as I was pulling the parking lot to buy breakfast for myself. I also purchased her a burrito as well. I drove over and offered it to her. She was so rude and was offended that I would even offer her some food. She accused me of trying to poison her. So I don't feel sorry for this chick one bit.

@bjsma84 That was wonderful of you to offer her help. She could possibly be mentally ill, so we should remain kind and understand she may be very afraid.

Maybe it would be good to give her a gift card to one of the fast food places in that shopping center, so she wouldn't be paranoid about being poisoned. It was great that someone offered her a burrito whether she accepted it or not. Some of the homeless are mentally ill. We can do what we feel like God wants us to do whether they accept it or not. God will Bless you for it.

'bout to head into work and saw these replies. yes, Angela is paranoid, very afraid and seems to be getting worse. we have tried to convince her to go into a shelter but she is too frightened. thanks to all on here that mentioned mental illness. we should not expect all the homeless people to respond by our standards. if they could, they probably wouldn't be homeless. all of the homeless people i have met have shown some signs of paranoia. i would think it likely that being homeless without four walls of protection just exacerbates the original problem. i'm sure a sociologist or psychologist could expand much more on the complexity of this problem and on the complexity of their mental issues.
One of our staff saw her on Halloween night. An officer was trying to persuade her to go with him and get out of the rain. He was unsuccessful as far as they knew, and he was at it for at least an hour.

I will be going daily to check on her and take her any items that are needed/donated. Ifyou're interested in helping her you can email me at [email protected]
I talked to her today in the morning. She was very nice to me. She told me she was ok. She was so nice and had a very sweet expression. The whole thing was very odd. She acted like everything was Ok with her. I do believe she is mentally ill. I wonder if her family is looking for her.
